What: Hang Gliding tandem at Lookout Mt. Flight Park! #VI

Do you want to go flying tandem in a hang glider with an instructor?

If so, join us on Sunday, August-8th. You will be towed up to about 2,000 feet by a small airplane, then glide slowly for about 10 minutes and finally land the hang glider on a grassy field while guided by your instructor, who is also flying with you!

We will have several certified instructors helping and flying with you. As with the last few flying meetups, Ozzie won’t be the only instructor. Depending on the group size, this event duration could be from1hr to 3hrs

All members showing up will be gathered at a pavilion next to the take off spot. You'll be able to see all other members as they take turns to fly while waiting, talking and sharing the experience with each other!
Please note you are also welcome if you feel like you will just like to see this event but not fly at this time.

I need to have a rough number of flying members by Thursday, August-5th to ensure that our reserved spot is large enough. Please keep you RSVP updated! Thank you. Last minute "pilots" will probably still be welcome unless the group gets to be unusually large!

The cost is $109 for a Discovery Tandem Flight at Lookout Mt. Flight Park [Which is normally $149]
You will be paying the flight park directly and even though you don't have to pay in advance, it will make things go faster and smoother that morning if you could pay them over the phone at least the day before.

Directions: From Chattanooga, TN
From South Broad St [just south of 24] 1.2 mi.
Turn Left on Tennessee Ave. [Later St. Elmo. Ave] 0.4 mi.
Bear Right on Ochs Hwy (TN-58) 2.9 mi.
Continue on Red Riding Hood, once on top of Lookout Mountain, for 0.5 mi.
Bear Right on Lula Lake and then Immediate Left on McFarland Rd. (GA-157) 0.6 mi.
Turn Left on Scenic Hwy (GA-157) 7.5 mi.

Basically follow signs to Rock City, once on top of the Mt. follow signs for Covenant Collage on Scenic Hwy & drive pass Covenant 6.25 miles. Flight Park is on Right.
