  From comments, looks like a beginner hike would be more popular. By the way, is there liability issues with these meetups? Was wondering about a local outdoor climbing trip, involving smallish group (access to enough gear might be problem). Saw March outing to Leda, but can't justify $70 for an essentially free activity. ”
