Spring is upon us once again lets get out and enjoy a great weekend at Cloudland canyon state park. this will be a great way to meet like minded people that love the outdoors. This will be a one night meet and greet everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite food to share with everyone. since this is going to be held at a group area you will not need to worry about packing lite. Bring what ever you need to make some great food and be comfortable. there will also be plenty of time to see the beauty of the park. on Sunday for the early morning people, we will be going for a sunrise hike. check out time is 1pm so we need to make sure all our gear is pack and the site is clean. After that we can spend the day hiking and just be lazy. :-)

Things to bring: tent, sleeping bad, sleeping pad, hiking boots, warm clothes, headlamps, plenty of food, drinkable water :-) some sort of stove, and a great attitude.

Cost: $5.00 for the parking permit and $4.00 per person to help with the cost of the site. There is also a minimum for the site, so if there is not enough people attending we will have to cancel and reschedule for a later date.
