I just stepped outside and the ground is still pretty saturated with water. I'm guessing the trails aren't in the best condition today, so I think I'll sit this one out.

Tomorrow the weather will be mostly sunny & warmer than today. Trails may still be too wet though.
If the event is cancel, I will be going to Chickamauga Military Park or trails by Covenant Collage. I'll love to meet any body that needs the exercise...

I essentially have no experience mountain biking, but would consider myself to be in decent shape. Is this the right ride for me to start with, or should I wait for another one?

Is this the same trail head we met at for Turkey day ride, the east brow? I have an extra bike if someone wants to borrow one. It's a real MT bike not a dept store brand. I have an Iron Horse.

    •  Would have been great had my gears not started slipping 1/4 of the way into the ride!! People were friendly and the host actually circled back around to check on me back in the parking lot- great venue- crappy bike! I'd go again though!
    •  The ride was awesome. Loved the trail, loved the pace at the front. Maybe next time I wont bend my wheel. With front and rear brakes we can go do some of the other trails Trey!
    •  Trey did an excellent job once again. He was very attempting to the whole group specially those of us lagging behind a bit with mech. problems or just out breath! And everybody else was also very nice. Thanks to every body.
