This summer you rafted the Nantahala, the Ocoee, and the Chatooga with OACS! Are you ready for a challenge?

Rated one of the Top 10 whitewater runs on earth, the Upper Gauley is the mack-daddy of American rafting. It's big, fun, funky, and harder than a sack of hammers. Get ready for some major adventure!

Folks from all over the U.S.A. will be joining us for River Rage Gauley 2009! Expect 200 or more amazing adventure seekers from all over the US! This event is 17 years running now.

The Gauley River section we run is Class III-V. If you've run Class III rapids (Ocoee, Chattoga) and were comfortable then you're probably OK. This is NOT a good beginner trip though.

Your Trip Includes:
Up to Three nights camping Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Rafting on the upper Gauley!
2 dinners, 1 lunch, 1 breakfast
Fri night party (Theme TBD), beverages, prizes
Sat night party (Inappropriate Tee-Shirt Theme) with beverages

You may drive up either Thursday or Friday. We'll help arrange carpool for both days from Atlanta, Asheville, and Chattanooga. If you come up Thursday we'll have a few Friday recreational opportunities including hiking and mountain biking. We'll have some Sunday morning options as well.

This is a car camping trip so load up on whatever you need to be comfortable!
